Graduate Programs Admissions FAQs

");

Yes. In fact, we prefer that you are working so that you have context for the information you learn in the classroom. We focus on engaged, hands-on learning in all of our MBA programs. The skills you are practicing in the classroom should be directly applicable to your real-life work.

If you studied business as an undergraduate, you most likely have completed all of the needed courses: Micro and Macro Economics, Financial and Managerial Accounting, Statistics, and Finance. Options are available that allow students to quickly finish any needed prereqs online through Coursera or the university of their choice. For details, please use this program interest form to learn more about our programs and for a link to upload your unofficial transcripts for review.

MBA applicants can complete their applications before they finish the prerequisites with the opportunity to be selected for “conditional” admission.

Please use our program interest form to upload a copy of your unofficial transcripts. If needed, our admissions team can offer some convenient online options which will allow you to complete any missing courses before the August cohort begins.

The approximate cost for the full program is $27,000 for in-state students and approximately $36,000 for out-of-state or international students. For more details about pricing, please visit the Sonoma State University Fees page

Scholarships may be available through the University Scholarships Office.

Investing in a quality education is an investment in your future. We recommend applying for financial aid as early as possible. U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens should complete the FAFSA at www.studentaid.gov . Undocumented and DACA students should complete the California Dream Act Application at dream.csac.ca.gov. Our Financial Aid Office on campus can answer questions for you as well.
