About
Dr. Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, and completed his B.A. in international trade with a minor in political science, M.B.A in international economics and finance, and doctor's course in international economics and finance at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, South Korea. He came into the U.S. in 2000 and earned his masters and doctoral degrees in economics at the University of Oregon. He has been teaching macroeconomics, international economics, and time series econometrics at Sonoma State University since 2007. The main topics of his research have been immigration, minimum wages, and tertiary education.
